2023 Contra Costa County Bar Association Women's Section Annual Awards Dinner Recognizes Alice P. Cheng with 4th Annual Women's Section Outstanding Woman Lawyer Award

Please join the Contra Costa County Bar Association (CCCBA) Women's Section for this very special evening as they honor the 2023 recipients of the Honorable Patricia Herron and the Honorable Ellen James Scholarship and present the 4th Annual Women's Section Outstanding Woman Lawyer Award (OWL) to Alice P. Cheng.

The CCCBA Women’s Section is pleased to announce the winner of the 2023 Outstanding Woman Lawyer (OWL) award is Alice Cheng. Alice has been a pillar of the legal community in both Contra Costa and Alameda County for many years, serving on the board of directors of the Alameda County Bar Association and on the Family Law Section’s Board for CCCBA. Additionally, Alice has contributed various articles to the Contra Costa Lawyer Magazine and acted as the co-editor since 2022. Alice is also a board member of the Ear Warren American Inns of Court and serves on the Contra Costa County Minor’s Counsel Panel. Alice practices Family law in various Bay Area counties and before working in Family Law served as a deputy DA in Sacramento County. The ACBA recognized her with the Distinguished Service Award in 2018 and Alice has been selected for inclusion as Super Lawyer for a number of years – We could not agree more that Alice is a Super Lawyer and incredibly deserving of recognition by the CCCBA Women’s Section as our 2023 Outstanding Woman Lawyer.

The 2023 Women's Section Annual Awards Dinner is on October 12, 2023 - 5:30 PM at La Fontaine in Walnut Creek, CA.
